Tyla and Wizkid Link Up on ‘Dynamite’ — The Only Feature on Her Surprise EP ‘WWP’, Out Now
Grammy-winning Tyla really said surprise and dropped WWP out of nowhere — promising an unskippable, replayable project right from the first track.
“When I thought of doing a mixtape called ‘WWP,’ I went back to all my old demos and I remembered the Wiz one,” TYLA told her London audience in July.
Released on 25 July 2025, the aptly named single ‘Dynamite’ featuring Wizkid is undoubtedly setting the scene on fire. The unforgettable beat, produced by P Prime, drives the track with infectious energy.
Wizkid — one of Nigeria’s legendary Big Three — opens the track with a signature soundscape that sets the tone effortlessly. Enter South Africa’s pop princess Tyla, one of the most genre-defying global acts of the next generation. She delivers pure heat, making it a powerful and unforgettable way to launch a surprise EP.
This EP tells a story that quite literally starts off with a bang.
DYNAMITE: the type of track you hear in the dance — picture one of those iconic Y2K music video scenes where sweat drips from the walls, everyone’s dancing, and not a single phone is in sight. Pure, unfiltered bliss.
MR. MEDIA: somebody’s got mail.
IS IT: first of all, opening a track with ‘is it the f***s that I don’t give, is it the man that I don’t miss” is a statement that many can relate to.
BLISS: Co-written by Tyla with top-tier writers including Haile, Chi, and Blu June, this track radiates a more vulnerable side from the first note
Whether you’re heading out with the girlies or winding down at home, this EP delivers 11 sweet minutes and 23 seconds of genre-blending finesse, hypnotic production, and effortlessly addictive vocals.
