It’s one thing to update our playlists but it’s another when the recent additions have been nothing short of an obsession. Discovering new music is definitely up there as one of the finer things in life so this is us sharing with you, the newest songs that have been stuck on repeat! Enjoy.

1) Tom Moutchi - Daabi Daabi

If you saw us out at DLT Malta IRL or via Stories then you would know HOW obsessed the team were with Tom Moutchi’s song ‘Daabi Daabi’. Tom is a magician because what did he put in that song? If your body doesn’t just begin to gyrate immediately then you’re doing it all wrong. Might I add that the music video for this track is also a stunning piece. A work of art!

4) Jords ft Tay Iwar - MoBay

From Jords’ the newest album ‘Dirt in the Diamond’, the song ‘MoBay’ features the iconic Nigerian artist Tay Iwar. MoBoy is a song that feels grown, sexy but at the same time you can play it at the family cookouts where your Nanny, Uncles and Aunties would catch a vibe same way… as though it’s their tune from way back! That is what we love about Jords. With his perfectly incoroporated Jamaican influences, Jords’ music feels very much like home.

5) Che Lingo - Consumeriddm

Oh we love it when the music starts to get a bit vibesy and Che Lingo’s song Consumeriddm does just that! Cold bars laid right on top of an incredibly infectious beat, what a combo. When we saw Che live at his headline show for the Coming Up For Air album, the crowd went crazy for this track and once you press play, you’ll understand why. Consumeriddm is Che’s refreshingly real take on consumer culture. The message is in the name.

8) Ragz Originale - troublin

I guess you could say that Ragz Originale’s ‘troublin’ is a cheeky confession song? Originally dropped via a COLORS in the lead up to his latest album, BARE SUGAR, you should already know that the storytelling comes effortlessly to Ragz as he shares details of secrets, desires and vulnerability. From Santino Le Saint’s acoustic EP ‘new material’, ‘More’ is a stripped back love song where it seems that two have fallen for the same one. The vocals of both Santino and Cole3trane paired with the strum of a guitar take centre stage. Much like the name suggests, you’ll want more and more of this song.
